Join us for this one day workshop introducing culture hacking in the public sector.
30th January 2015, Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff
“You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”
Buckminster Fuller
What is it?
Join Esko Reinikainen and Jo Carter of The Satori Lab and get away from the office for a day of inspiration, practical information and useful methods.
The culture of public sector organisations is a legacy of industrial systems of organisation. It is becoming increasingly clear that many of the obstacles to modernisation and innovation in the public sector are cultural in nature. The good news is that culture is flexible and has both evolutionary and revolutionary potential. Culture is a function of human nature so there are no culture change magic bullets, it is a tricky business and takes time. There are however a growing number of models and tools that can stimulate the culture change your organisation needs to adapt to the challenges faced by the public sector. This workshop will arm you with a basic framework for approaching culture transformation and a set of tools you can use to start the process of cultural adaptation.
